"We stand in solidarity with the Black/African American community in all facets as we continue to battle with the social scourges of racism and anti-blackness practices that dehumanize, then murder our men, women, and children. Stop it! See our full statement here:
Whether it's a workshop on anti-racist, anti-blackness practices or recognizing trauma among students or other community members, we will provide workshops that meet your needs. Click below:
We will never come into the room as the expert, but as a partner. You know your community, your customers or patrons, your field better than we do. Our niche is coming to the table with "lived experiences" and a community psychology perspective in understanding human behavior.
That's why we can help.
We completed our quantitative study on historical trauma among African Americans in 2019. We are currently holding community conversations on our findings. In light of Covid-19, we are continuing to do this work online.
CWI began its workshops and programming on-ground or in face-to-face workshops. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, to protect and create safe environments for all, we have transitioned our workshops and all other work to a virtual environment. While we love the interaction within face-to-face workshops, our very mission is about promoting and sustaining wellness. We will see you soon!
